Setup templates for different league templates in 4 easy steps:
Ladder calculation format
The team who has earned the most points will be awarded the win. Points can be awarded in different ways and exceptions, e.g. the points for forfeits, retires, incomplete matches, most games win and per set. Winners and points are calculated upon the ladder calculation format.
Ladder display format
Which properties are required to be displayed in the ladder will be determined n the ladder display format. This format consists of 25 properties which can be added in a sequence according to the needs of the league organiser.
Ladder sorting format
Not all leagues will sort teams with the most points on top. With 25 different properties, the league organiser gets all the flexibility which is needed to determine the sort order.
Match and rubber format
A match format includes all the settings which are needed to play a match, such as participation format (singles/doubles), set types, rubber format (best of 3, best of 5), number of players, player match up per rubber, winner calculation
At the end of the season, finals and playoffs can be played to determine the grand finalist. The finals format determines which ladder positions will be seeded and continue to the playoffs and knockouts.
The matches draw will be generated based upon the fixture format. A fixture format consists always one template, but may have multiple templates for different rounds and number of teams.
Multiple templates can be useful for leagues which will potentially allocate a different amount of teams per division. The system automatically determines which fixture template is needed to be used per division.
In addition, during setup only selected draw numbers are displayed as options. This will avoid duplicated draw numbers per round.
The fixture dates will be displayed as a preview based upon on the start date and number of rounds. In addition, multiple timeslots can be applied per round.
Settings can be adjusted per round, when for example a start date or time needs to differ from the default date and time. A match format can differ as well, usually for finals rounds matches.
Exclude days from the fixture with non-playing days. The fixture won’t take these days into account during the fixture draw process.
The system automatically schedules the next round one week after the non-playing day, if non non-playing day has been applied for this day already fixture.
Some examples are national holidays and bank holidays.
Auto Generated Template Name
The template name will be generated automatically based upon relevant settings. This name can be customised according your needs.
Most important formats and settings are listed as a summary to make sure the season template has been setup correctly.
